Researchers at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and Curtin University used their SELFRAG Lab system to recover zircon and monazite from the Yarrabubba crater in Western Australia allowing them to establish an age of 2229±5 Ma, making it the oldest impact structure on Earth.
